23andMe has a deal going on with Oprah right now for $200 off their Ancestry tests, at $199. They've confirmed via Twitter that you can still do the upgrade for the health portions for $150, which gets you to $349 instead of $499.

I haven't gone through the upgrade process but I believe it's just money you pay them to flip the switch and give you access to all of the data after you've gotten your results back. The actual SNP genotyping they do is no different for the health vs. ancestry stuff.

For those who like to live dangerously:

I just noticed out that if you have a shopping cart with the ancestry edition in there with the $200 discount, and then you add the complete edition, it also gets a $200 discount, and then when you remove the ancestry edition you've got a $499 complete edition in there with $200 discount, bringing the total
